Organic Residuals Management
Food Waste Recycling
We are committed to finding innovative ways to repurpose food processing waste, both solid and liquid. Our approach aims to benefit the environment, meet regulatory requirements, and reduce operational costs.
Rather than sending waste to landfills, we redirect it to environmentally friendly and beneficial uses. These include organic land application, composting, soil enhancement, anaerobic digestion, and the production of animal feed and fertilizers.
We also transform waste into energy and fuel, as well as alternative raw materials for consumer goods. Our waste-derived products range from fireplace logs and fuel pellets to fire starters and potting soil.
Through these efforts, we’re turning waste into valuable resources and promoting sustainability in the food processing industry.
Spent Coffee Grounds
In recent years, SRG has launched an ambitious initiative to expand our product range and increase the value of our managed organic residuals. Our primary focus has been on coffee residuals, particularly spent coffee grounds, which are one of the most abundant organic waste products and a major source of landfill methane emissions.
Sustainable Resources Group has developed expertise in repurposing coffee waste, collaborating with some of the world’s largest soluble coffee producers for over 15 years.
We are actively seeking partnerships with additional coffee suppliers, manufacturers, and roasters to reduce costs and enhance positive environmental impacts.
Our emphasis is on working with soluble coffee facilities, cold-brew operations, and producers of coffee concentrates or liquors. Through these collaborations, we aim to transform coffee waste into valuable resources while mitigating environmental concerns.
